It seems to me that elevation is less important in an adjustable sight than is windage. It is easy enough to hold over/under in the field. It is more difficult to hold off.

I think I would rather eat ground hog then possum, but I wouldn't eat Armadillo at all, as they are a know carrier of Leprosy. I know who my parents, grandparents, and great grandparents were. They were the ones who raised me. Considering that the parentage of about 1/7th of children is misattributed and there is no certainty of biological connections beyond three generations it doesn't much matter.

Not just the gauge but also the external finish will affect durability.

10 grains of Red Dot and a quarter sheet of toilet paper will do it. If you want to shoot the round balls they should produce about 2400 fps. As long as you are burning primers and powder you may as well have the fun of shooting at something.

Skunks are excellent mousers andf also consume a lot of insects especially the larger ones like beetles. Unfortunately when I lived in Kalifornia they were by far the main carrier of rabies. Their fur is quite nice.
