marlin man no i was shooting into a big block of wood, put up a big target & had no
extra holes in it, 18 rounds were with in 6 yards, so im sure they stayed on that far
around here my gravel & saw dust piles are full of lead, be hard to sniff them out

Yes i think the new one will cure your problem, had to replace one a few years ago worked like a clock then, i like the mini way better than the AR, just couldnt warm up to them mine works real well on prairie dogs out to 300 yds as well as coyotes, i quit worrying about finding all my brass ollogger

Have a Taurus M 44 that is ported, with hard lead with a gas check or plain base it will lead the bbl. & the ports
thats at about 1100 fps, change to softer lead like wheel weights & the leading goes away
both ways are with the same load, go figure?
