Re: Gun show 1893 Deluxe
Very nice repair job on an 'unbelievable priced' piece of history. I do like Marlin's in this design. Really just do not care for the looks of the open port and bolted modern design. It may be stronger but this design just has better line appeal to me, like the 1894's in pistol calibers. I know I co...

Not to be negative here but I saw an ad last week for TB that was like in the $40 range but then you had to add the shipping and hazmart costs. That tallied up to $70+. Maybe when it hit local businesses the pricing will be better. Now, I never have used TB because I shot BP for CAS shooting. After...

I had my hands on one back in '17 or '18, it was a 357 4 3/4" for $350. This was just weeks after having bought a Uberti Matte finished one for the same price, so I had to pass it up. That was absolutely foolish. This gun was so well finished and polished that I thought, I would never fire it, ...

An 1876 rifle in 40-60. The 45-60 is easy to form and load and I have one. That 40-60 forming takes patience, a lot of it. Very nice condition rifle. Interesting configuration to that rifle in todays modern offerings. How long is that half octagon/round barrel? How many rounds does the half magazine hold?
And now.... Why did you consider this configuration -- to be to your liking?
