Forum back to its old tricks?

Post by Bill in Oregon »

It's been slow to load, or refusing to load for me for the past two or three days. I had hoped this issue was behind us. :(

For me yesterday (10/20) was slow to load, but finally logged on. Today (10/21) 3 attempts to access site. First 2 attempts would not accept user name and password,

Slow to load or goes to "service unavailable" most of the time for several days. Aggravating.

Paul gave me this site last time,
www.isitdownrightnow.com
The past few mornings, 0600 eastern I try the normal opening of our beloved LEVERGUNS, if it doesn't work I try the above site and it shows the site as DOWN. I just jump to the next puter thing I do daily.

I'm hope it's been routine maintenance but I suspect this might have something to do with the recent hack jobs that others have had.

.
Very difficult to post - maybe 5% success, and even just loading a page to read is about 20% successful.

I've had all the issues described above the last 2-3 days. Sometimes had to shut off my internet connection and turn it back on just to get it to eventually load. Then once loaded I couldn't navigate the site either. Just now it finally worked great, but the site had logged me out, so logged back in.

I had the same issues as others have stated but I also seem to get 'LOG-OUT' during these issue times. I know, I am not an oldtimer on here, 1 1/2 to 2 years, but I don't get it. Last night, I tried to log back in and got a time out error and never could get in. Even though I had been reading without issue in the morning hours.

The slowness seems to be spotty. Some days, like today, there isn't any, however, the last few weeks I've had instances where I gave up trying to view posts as it timed out before loading.

Hey, I think I'm going to be able to make a reply! This is just the second time this week I have been able to open any posts and (if it lets this one through) the first time in a couple weeks I have been able to make a "reply".
