Very nice. I didn't know Colt made the Lightning rifle in big bore calibers. I thought they were all the revolver/rifle calibers. Now that's cool. How did the action hold up to firing the 45-90? they made the small frame in 22 lr, the medium frame in pistol calibers [not including the 45 colt], and...

fine rifle, fine shooting, fine writing! thank you. that is one of the most desirable rifles i have ever seen here. an acquaintance up here years ago used his 44/77 original [ if i recall correctly] to take a full curl sheep at approx 327 yards. that greatly outclasses getting a sheep with a scoped ...

I hope they function better than the 45 Colt T-Bolt that I used to have . . . I've heard of reports regarding misfeeds with the .45. Do you think the larger rim of the .38/.357 will help? yes, i think it will, but it would be best in the 44/40 or 38/40,etc where you have a real rim. compare a 45 co...

I heavily customized a Savage 219 (hammerless single shot) in the 1980's. Custom stocks, scroll engraving, scope mount, chamber reamed to 30-30 PO Ackley Improved. It was light, well balanced, super accurate, and produced 300 Savage ballistics and performance with its 26 inch barrel. But I sold it ...

blackhawk in 30 carbine be rechambered to the 327 federal? would you need a new cylinder? i know the bore diameter issue, but Paco and others have rechamber to 32/20 and with no apparent ill effects?
well, like i said, probably a dumb question?

R U sure that the fancy buckle, although made to fit a mini, is actually made by/for FA ? FA made sure to have their brand name prominently displayed on the standard buckle - but there's nothing to be seen in your pic of the fancy one, where the public would see also see it. Is the reverse marked ?...
