Thanks for pointing out those loads. It appears Buffalo Bore is loading a 190-grain Hawk flat point to 2100. That should be a potent load indeed within 150-200 yards. I remember old Sam Fadala writing that he liked to pull the 190s from .303 Savage cartridges and load them to the max for his .30-30...

I like the point design of your spadebit! I f you need to countersink for a flush screw as is often done in wood projects, you can use the this bit just varying the depth after using a smaller bit for the threads.

Thanks Pitchy! I looked up crystal radios on Google, and a Wikipedia article explained things. Even had a picture of a foxhole radio, very similar to yours, and how they came about, Anzio in WWII. The safety pin and razor blade was something I had never seen before. Now I have to work on terminology...

I have read that Savage has settled other cases out of court regarding the barrel issues on this muzzleloader?
Don't know details, most likely because of non-disclosure as part of settlements?
Smokeless powder in a muzzleloader, seems strange to me, but some states laws allow it?
