Re: I hate it, but it’s probably not worth taking a chance.
BTW, I was just watching the funeral of Pope Francis. I can't help but look at the security arrangements. With 50+ world leaders attending, and almost all of the Roman Catholic church's leaders, plus leaders of other Christian churches, all I could think was that I hope everyone is on their toes. To...

Re: I hate it, but it’s probably not worth taking a chance.
As many of you know, I run my church's safety team. We generally refer to Christmas and Easter as our "super bowls", given the crowds. Lots of "Chris-Easter Catholics" (those who only attend Christmas and Easter), lots of guests, even non-Catholic Christians just looking for a be...

Re: Western Society is re-booting....evidently so may be the Catholic Church...
We'll see which direction the church will go with the election of the new pope (writing this as I am sitting watching the funeral of Pope Francis). As a cradle Catholic, I have more than a few opinions on this  . I'm hoping we shift back to conservative, biblically-based principles. I'm really...

Cool! I will need to check them out. I've been looking for a Kydex OWB holster for my 1911 Commander with a rail with a olinght Valkyrie WML mounted on it.

My grandfather always said the snakes came out after the first thunderstorm of spring. We had that the last week of March. They were out but it hasn't been above 50 since! Snakes don't bother me, I've had a Burmese python, a couple red tail boa's, a couple rainbow boa's and sand boa and a Californi...

He was acting director, so maybe the new guy is the permanent one for now? Let's hope he is pro-gun. I imagine Trump will keep him on a short lease.

Try the Springfield SA-35. The ergonomics are terrific. The hammer is a ring type, so it won't bite the web of the hand as some people experience with the original hammer design. Field stripping is, IMHO, easier than with a 1911. And it seems plenty accurate. I have a late-model HiPower, and the Sp...

I know that many churches have programs to help local people in need and you don't need to be a parishioner/member - you just need to have the need and be willing to ask. In fact, they are usually thrilled to help someone where they know the help is being used for the purpose it is intended, versus ...

Back 40 year ago I was trying to squeeze another fraction of a second off my draw time with a Ruger SBH. Doing so, I ended putting my finger on the trigger while thumb-cocking as the gun left the holster versus as it was fully raised. Let off a round that went into the dirt about an inch from my rig...

1,000 less ATF agents

Nash Patel announced today that he's reassigning 1,000 ATF agents to the FBI.
I say - good start! I'd normally be a bit concerned, knowing how far the FBI has fallen, but I get the feeling that these new FBI agents won't be working on woke stuff.
The wins just keep coming!

One of my favorite poems... Sounds like a wonderful get together and fitting tribute to Shootists who have gone home.
