i think they made relatively few before ceasing operations:
the winchester 94/17 .... it is a hard item to find.
i like the HMR17 and this one is a real shooter [ think ground squirrels and prairie dogs ]
i had a CZ 452 bolt action, in this caliber, with beautiful wood , and gave it to my daughter, who was coveting it..
this one will do the job [ of course i have a few other HMR17s as well]

it is really accurate, shooting right up there with the bolt action 17HMRs that i have.
i am not sure how many of these were made but not very many !

Only ever seen one in the UK for sale many years ago. I often wonder where it is.
Be careful cleaning it, just let the solvent do it stuff and use simple pull throughs.

I have only seen one or two. They were outrageously priced. I have an empty slot in my Winchester collection if one ever becomes available at a reasonable price. I really enjoy my 9422 and 9422M and one of those would fit right in.

YES, I wanted one badly for my first .22, but due to my budget bought a Model 150.
