If they want to chamber the 6.5cm the single shot rifle maybe the best rifle for it. As for the long Ranger they need the 358 win. chambering!

It's possible you could take a torch and heat the very spot you want to drill until it turns cherry red, then let it cool naturally. Then drill it after it cools. It may soften that spot.

My opinion the main advantage to them is you can clean them and keep on keepin on. The only time you need more flow is when you are loaded up and climbing a grade or passing. Even then you only get as much airflow as the smallest restriction in the intake system. There is also a little extra noise w...

How about RL 7 ? It looks similar to 3031. Gonna look for some 5744. As far as bullets just looking for a decent price for something readily available. For a lead free load ( only CA hunting ) I'll likely just buy a couple boxes of barnes ammo just for that.

I will be shooting these out of the Henry all steel 18" barrel. I like the idea with the Unique because of the small amount of powder . For hunting I'll like the Barnes just because I have to. The lead free is actually a very good setup, just expensive.I'd go all Hardcast if I could hunt with it.

They can look tight and feel fine but when hot a little film of corrosion can separate the connection. Same at battery and sometimes a cable will be corroded internally. Look for s...

Re: Step One Complete For Truck Camper Plan
You did right by going 3/4 ton. A lot of folks beef up the half ton with springs or air bags but it does nothing for the brakes. Plus you have floating rear axle now, a real help. I've had half tons tear up axle seals and leak from overloading.
