This is cool I also belong to the SAR on both my mom and dad side. My fathers side landed at Jamestown in 1620. I spent a lot of time seaching. I found a lot of information just takes time lots of time. I also tracked down a lot of Great Aunts that where members of the DAR.

My first SA was a Colt I bought in 1975 for $300.00. I was living in Colorado Springs,Co. and spent months trying to find a 45 Colt. Every gun shop had 357. I still have it.

I'm new to this list and have several lever action rifles. I've been a Life Member since 1976 back then it was $150.00 alot of money then. I have paid in to reach Benefactor Life. I also am a Life Member in the GOA when Janes books called it a terroist org. I had to join.
