Picked up a small (25 round) box of .38 spl’s in 125 gr. Hard cast.
They are factory reloads made locally for SASS at a very good $.
Mild to shoot and they even make some smoke when fired.
Thought that was kinda cool.
Anyway as I said, I just had enough time to shoot a cylinder full.
Put a large size Maxwell house can out about 25 yrds.
From the sitting position with my back against a tree, my forearms on my knees,Right hand on the grip, left hand cupped over the right, I slow fired five rounds at the can.
Walked out to the can not knowing what to expect. (thought I did see it move a couple of times
)Well there they were five holes in the front of the can with five matching exit holes.
Not a real tight group, but I was quite pleased. (very much a newbie with hand guns
) Now I just need to get the time to devote to doing some serious target shooting.
