The funnest truck I had was a 73 F250, with a semi-built 390: Headers, RV cam, small four bbl, shift kit in the C6. 12 - 14 mpg and fast as a scalded cat...not race fast, but OMG fast. O.I.---I think Fords are great. I drove a '79 4X4 F-250 with a big block in it for 20 years. I put in a high rise Edelbrock along with a 650 Holly and a cam with a higher lift in it. Gas mileage was great. 6-7 around town and 10 going upstate!--------Sixgun
