I have been hovering around reading posts here for about six weeks. I am 34, I farm here in Lincoln county, TN and Madison County, AL. I have not had a tremendous amount of experience with lever action guns. When I was growing up my father had a 9422M that was the first gun I ever shot when I was about 6, and a '74 manufacture 94 in .30-30 which I shot my first deer with. I am trying to buy the farm next door to the one I live on, and to raise some cash I put some of my guns up for sale the week before the Sandy Hook shootings. I was asking $$ prices, so I didn't get any bites until the panic buying started. Anyhow, I sold my Mini-14 and my CETME for 2x-3x what I paid for them. After another week I changed my armslist ads to say i'd consider trades on the Sub2000 and SKS folder I still had for sale. This is where the story should start to sound relevant to y'all.

Few days later I swapped the SKS for a 2009 "JM" stamped Marlin 336 in .30-30 Win. I know I intend to put new sights on the Marlin, but I can't bring myself to do anything to the 92 (even though I don't much like the tall buckhorn rear sight.
I also am still on the hunt for a .45 and/or .357 carbines (I have single action rugers in those calibers too) though some of those procurements may be in the form of NEF Handi Rifle barrels for the two recievers I already have.
Anyhow, I just wanted to introduce myself and these leverguns I have recently aquired.
