Unfortunately I do not believe there is enough honest people left in the government to bring this to a stop.

A little food for thought. Here are the oaths of office for a few
offices...
President
http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/pihtml/pioaths.html
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the
office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my
ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United
States."
Vice-pres and other government officers
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vice_Presi ... ted_States
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the
Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and
domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I
take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose
of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of
the office on which I am about to enter.
Arizona governor, judges, etc
http://www.azleg.state.az.us/FormatDocu ... ocType=ARS
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the Constitution of
the United States and the Constitution and laws of the State of Arizona,
that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same and defend them
against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and that I will faithfully
and impartially discharge the duties of the office of (insert office
here) according to the best of my ability, so help me God (or so I do
affirm).
OK, now lets go back and re-read a few line from each...
For the President:
...preserve, protect and defend the Constitution...
For other federal officers:
...support and defend the Constitution...
For Arizona's officers:
...support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution
and laws of the State of Arizona...
Now for a side trip to good ol' Webster's...
Preserve:
to keep safe from injury, harm, or destruction
Protect:
to cover or shield from exposure, injury, damage, or destruction
Defend:
to drive danger or attack away from
to maintain or support in the face of argument or hostile criticism
Support:
to promote the interests or cause of
to uphold or defend as valid or right
to argue or vote for
OK, now I'll be the first one to admit I'm not the smartest person in
the world. I'm just a dumb ol' Arizona boy. But I think when someone
takes an oath to defend something and immediately starts to tear it down
they're not only a liar but they're a thief as well. Because they stole
every vote they got.
