Gun Vault. There are others that are similar, but you need to make sure that they don't have a "beep" that can't be shut off! Also, some of them have a display or other lights that can't be shut off and will give away your location. If I'm reaching for my Gun Vault in the middle of the nig...

I'm going to guess that it drives a vacuum pump for flight instruments, but honestly it could be any number of air driven devices. Old airplanes have some pretty "we'll I'll be..." items on them. :)

I've not looked at this rifle closely enough yet, but could it be that a stuck extractor fired the rimfire cartridge before the bolt was fully locked, leading to a case rupture and an uncontrolled 24,000 psi blowout?

As I understand it, mesquites in Texas are roughly like Palos Verdes in AZ :mrgreen: Weeds. I liked the blue Palo Verde ok, but I still wouldn't ever plant one. I think I'd opt for .22 shorts out of a rifle. They are pretty quiet and do the job. We plant a lot of palo verdes for landscaping in AZ, ...

Thank you for the comments and suggestions fellas. I am leaning towards the Benjamin Marauder in .25 caliber. If anyone has any experience with the pre-charge Marauder please let me know.
