Nineteen Firefighters have died fighting a wildfire near Yarnell, Arizona.
Prayers for their friends and families.
Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.

I've yet to meet/see a firefighter who didn't go "all in".

The loss of so many brave men and women. Awfully hard to come to terms with. Prayers for their loved one's and the calming of nature's fury.

Dark day here in Arizona and I know elsewhere. Entire (19 of 20) elite hotshot crew lost - they'd had been instrumnental in snuffing the bad but unrelated Prescott Granite Mountain (of their group's same name) fire just a week earlier. They'd also been fighting a fire in NM. Like a lot of other areas in the country but especially out west, we need some real rain.

Very sad. Apparently, flames overwhelmed them. It was reported last night that they were found with their emergency fire blankets over them. Such a terrible thing to happen. Prayers up for them and their families and friends.
