Re: Ruger Blackhawk Convertible - 38/40-10mm
I bought a stainless Single Six in 32 H&R a few years ago from Davidson's and it is a nice revolver. I am going to try shooting 32-20 out of my 30 carbine one of these days when I pick up some brass.

Re: Ruger Blackhawk Conversion - 38/40-10mm
I have one of the new 40/10mm stainless Blackhawks and it is a nice revolver. The 10mm cylinder is more accurate than the 40 S&W cylinder. I am probably going to scrounge up a spare cylinder and have it rechambered to 38-40 down the line since I have an 1892 in 38-40.

I bought one in 270 about 17 years ago after watching it keep coming up for auction on Gunbroker for several months. I had the same problem with the 45 Colt years ago when I fired them in my S&W model 25-5 that had an oversize cylinder. The casing were expanding too much when I fired them and after resizing them a couple times they would split. I eventually replaced the cylinder which solved the problem. It so...

I recently had that problem with my 9422 and ended up replacing the hammer/main spring and that corrected the problem. Depending on how many rounds you have fired through your rifle I would also check for a broken firing pin return spring. Mine broke about ten years ago and a small coil off of the s...

A few years ago I bought a RIA in 10mm and fitted a 40 S&W barrel to it and have fired the 10mm several thousand times without any problems so far. I installed a buffer that helps with the battering that occurs from the heavy recoil. The 10mm really barks when fired indoors and is much more powe...

Go to the Model 94 in the products section and on the right side of the description is an options section, it will show the other calibers. Don't feel bad I missed it the first two times I looked at it. Maybe this is the reason Hornady introduced the new load in 25-35.

I use it for the RCBS 200 FN out of my Model 71 and it turned 6-8" groups at 50's into 3 shot cloverleafs. I didn't heat it up and I wrapped it the opposite of the rifling so it won't unwrap.
