Thanks for the replies, I like the sig 380 because you can swap grip modules to the bigger x or xl, I like the ruger security 380 because it’s a ruger.

I always thought the 25-45 was a good round, always wanted it in a single shot or bolt gun, I 'm not big on auto loaders, I'm just too lazy to go chasing brass!
I would consider a Henry long ranger so chambered, or rechamber a ranger from 223 if it wasn't cost prohibitive.

I’d lean more towards the 22 mag, if I was to use a rimfire. However I wouldn’t want to get shot with either.

I think Stretch is correct, I also notice a difference between the two, stopped shooting nickel cases.
I find the nickel cases harder to resize , they seem to stick more in my sizing die.

If any one here shoots the 22 tcm from Rock Island , they offer pistols and bolt actions , and some yt gel test show better expansion from a pistol.
Going to one online ammo , showed a big ( cheaper ) difference in price, tcm being cheaper.
