Alas, I too have succumbed...

I bought myself a Mosin for a birthday/POST Cert present.

Now, when I can get a box-mag .308 in a lever (or 760/7600 pump) I will, but that's about $300-$500 more than I had to spend on the Mosin... with ammo...

IIRC Indiana had a "hold harmless" law where a hunter could not sue a landowner for anything but deliberate acts oe some such. (Kind of a corollary to hunter-harrassment laws. ) So an insurer had no liability anyway .
