I lost a lot of baby Muscovy ducks. It was a coon that would snatch their heads as they were poked through wire. Bodies were untouched as were several other ducklings in same cage whose heads were too large to fit through mesh.

I prefer the Bar S, or any other brand, cooked salami to the bologna. I prefer the smoked sausages in the 40 ounce pack to any weiner/frandfurter, at least the brands I can afford. If it is a modern manufacture (Japanese) example I would say it is close enough you would never notice the difference. When I first got mine many years ago I loaded a 600 grain cast bullet at 1900 fps and did not feel the need to go any farther. The recoil approximates a 405 grain at 2800 fps. Okay ...

If people are getting 200-300 fps more velocity from the 30-30AI than from the 30-30 it is mostly due to loading to higher pressures. The small difference in case capacity would not produce that much increase especially in the shorter barrel lengths common to the calibers.

I have been using12 grains of BD with jacketed bullets for at least 40 years in M92 clones and a Colt Mk III 6 inch. with good results. I seldom load any ammo to max pressure. According to QL most of my loads in all calibers are about 90% of SAAMI or less, some considerably less.

Buffalo Bore loads a .32 ACP +P that performs well. It uses the 75 grain FN made by Rim Rock. Handloaders can easily duplicate the ballistics. My wife used to carry a Witness Compact 9mm but it was a bit too large for her small hands. She now carries my Manurhin (Walther) PP and it performs well.
