Streetstar that's a near perfect carry gun that you have there. I prefer the bigger stuff and use a good holster. So the gun is always at the same place. brno602 Friend of mine has a great Weatherby collection and also two 460 Weatherby Magnum MK 5 rifles. He said it ain't that bad with factory 500grs. Soft Point ammo. But I think the 460 Weatherby Magnum is a real hammer both ways. A 1/2" steel plate is piece of cake for the 500grs. factory sof...

Very small targets. What kind of ammo did you use in your Marlin 39 and how was the performance?

My vote goes to the 9.3x74R. Very kind to the shooters shoulder and easy to reload. Most double rifles work good with the 270grs. Speer bullets.

I was always a great fan of the 10 Auto. My first one was a Bren Ten Standard and my second a Colt Delta Elite. Dbateman, You won't find a Winchester BB94 in 45/70 they never made one. But any Winchester Big Bore is worth looking for. I have a Winchester Timber 444 Marlin and love the gun. Love my Springfield M1A Bush with a Springfield Scout Comp and Zeiss 6x32 Duplex. Very accurate and a joy to handle. My new Browning M71 High Grade at 100 meters with Winchester 200grs. factory stuff. This is a great rifle and a real shooter!
