Would like to find a special home for this sweet little Yildiz Legacy 28-gauge over and under shotgun. I bought it new and have not shot it -- going home to the Luddite Model 12 16 gauge I started with 60 years ago. It has a single selective trigger, ejectors, 26-inch barrels and comes with five external chokes: Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified and Full. Weight is 6 pounds, 3 ounces, and it balances within a quarter-inch of the hinge pin. Turkish walnut stocks are pleasing. There are some handling/gun safe marks, but otherwise it is as nice a little 28 as you could ask for. Academy Sports imports these exclusively, has no stores in the PNW and will not ship to an FFL. Now that I live in the Southwest, I have access. Loved my Yildiz O/U in .410 but after the guys saw me shoot skeet with it, they gently -- very gently -- took me aside and said, "Bill, the .410 is beyond your skill level."

If you have not heard about Yildiz and think it is Turkish junk, go to the Yildiz forum at Shotgunworld.com. They make the Orion side-by-sides for Weatherby. Their warranty center in the United State is Briley, of choke fame. Asking $450 and $25 shipping to your FFL from a non-licensee and will include a pair of aluminum A-Zoom snap caps. Warning. Do not insert the snap caps, pull the trigger twice and open the action absent-mindedly. Those ejectors will send those snap caps into your forehead. Don't ask me how I know.
