Mossberg 464 with 16 inch barrel

Post by t.r. »

This is the Davidson's exclusive model with these features:
- grey laminate stock
- Marine coat finish to metalwork
- 16 inch barrel
- sling studs
- angle-eject like the Winchester 94
- chambered for 30-30 cartridge
Condition is used but no scratches or dings anywhere. It has been well cared for since I bought it new.
I installed a Simmons Pro Hunter scope with 2-7X settings. Very bright and clear optics which holds zero.
I am selling this handy carbine because I need to "thin the herd."
Location is Tallahassee, Florida.

My price is $775.00 which includes shipping to your local FFL shop. But no shipping to California, Alaska, Hawaii, or outside of USA.

Type in, "I'll take it" and send me a PM. TR

Man, I always want to buy all the guns. It's funny, I had just been watching videos about these Mossbergs before you posted this for sale. They were always kind of interesting to me as many guns copy the basic marlin design but not as many are patterned more similar to the winchesters. I thought it was kind of neat how they solved the scoping issue with a basic winchester design.

Here's a video of Ron Spomer shooting one. He says he was very impressed with it's accuracy and says he can get moa groups with it.

You are correct, accuracy is quite good. This photo shows a recent target shot a 100 yards. Two sight corrections until the grouping at the top shows three shots clustered 1.5 inches above point of aim. TR

I shot this wild hog at a distance of about 75 yards or so. Entrance wound is clearly seen. Accurate shooting! TR
