Supposed to hit 80 tomorrow. Nice weather. Not as warm as Mozambique was on Christmas but it'll do!
The San Gabriel River today.

Re: I'm Dreaming of a Bright Christmas
I had planned on leaving this past Saturday for the Valley (Pharr), but a popped air bag on my suspension, stalled that till Sunday. Working on the grimy side of a truck is greasy business. Not getting done til after dark and cleaning up... tools and self didn't leave me wanting to leave. Got to Pharr Sunday nite and had to keep truck idling as I like my A/C when trying to sleep in 70+ temps. It got to 86ºF on the drive up to Laredo yesterday. This was my first trip down there in several years, only the second time I used the toll road around Austin and San Antonio, and was very surprised at the ease of driving down US281 bypassing both Alice and Falfurrias. Left Laredo @ 11pm last nite, and glad that both San Antonio & Austin are (relatively) devoid of traffic at 1-3 am. One thing hasn't changed... construction on I35, and traffic along US 83 out of McAllen thru Rio Grande City... thankfully it eased up until almost Laredo! Not looking forward to that trip anytime soon... at least in the KW! But, hey! Doin' my bit for international trade... took US manufactured goods going to Mexico down, and brought Mexican made goods back to the US! Best of all, I got paid both directions!

The Dream came true Here today Jim...Sun was out and it's going to be in the 40's .
Last year on Christmas we still had snow left from the blizzard Thanksgiving Weekend. Merry Christmas to All.
