Ruger PPP #458- Looks great

Post by Oldncrusty »

I put in a request a while back at my lgs for a John Taffin PPP. I was nervous after reading all the horror stories about the grip frame fitment troubles but am glad I didn't chicken out. Thought I'd put up some pics in case anyone else is on the fence.

That’s a great looking revolver. I have so many PPSs that I have a hard time picking which one to take along and usually ends up being at least two. Now I have another custom just getting started.

Have fun with the new shooter!

Thanks, I shall. I'm not sure this one will make it to my favorite PPP, but it's my first Bisley, and a convertible. I think an AL grip frame might be in the works.

Ah ok, enlarge the pictures and ok I like it! At first I thought that was one of the single six/sevens that was ' engraved' ( poorly ) that somebody was offering as the perfect packing pistol- that was absolutely FUGLY!
