Thank you all! It's been a blessed day. Last day of an international gathering of great folk that was "just what the doctor ordered". Only complaint is that they made it too easy to over indulge in the exquisite cuisine. On the other hand got a good dose of farofa and a good dose of pão de queijo - so who's complaining? Also managed to squirrel a bit of Guaraná away to haul home. Thanks again for the good wishes.

Happy Birthday!
Last year, we threw a party for a lady from our church she was 82. She had never had a birthday party before. We threw it as a surprise, telling her it was for my son who was going to turn 4. Her birthday is the next day, so we threw her party the weekend before and his the weekend after. She arrived, and saw some of her kinfolks cars, and thought... hmm wonder what they're doing here. When she walked we all yelled surprise and the jig was up! She cried. It was pretty cool to do that for an old lady that's used to doing for everyone else.
