I lost a good friend to the China virus this morning

Post by Scott Tschirhart »

A good friend in El Paso passed today. He had some of the classic co-morbidities and I really thought he would pull through the covid virus.

He didn't make it and the world is worse off for it. A fine man from a good family and a good friend to me. But I know where he is and I'll see him again on the other side.

Sorry to hear about your friend. This thing really stinks!

I have a good friend that's been in the hospital for seven weeks now with the virus. I was really getting on him about his weight and heavy smoking. Really worried about him and hoping for the best.

Miss Kathy and I went through the China virus back in April. I was sicker than a dog, but it was not life-threatening. Fortunately, her symptoms were milder.

El Paso has it bad right now, and across the River in Juarez its a real mess.

Scott, when folks in El Paso need virus stress relief, they drive north to my town, Alamogordo, and on to the mountain resort towns of Cloudcroft, Mayhill and Ruidoso. Unfortunately they almost uniformly disregard the legal requirement to quarantine for 14 days, so we are "treated" to Covid from ELP and Juarez. It is a bit of a sore point among some of the citizenry in this section.
Sorry for the loss of your friend. The virus is kicking Hades out of El Paso County.

Prayers sent for comfort for those left behind.
My 28 year old neice just got over it. She is pregnant, but no health problems. Her husband had it, too. They took the combination of supplements that AJMD429 suggested. Within 48 hours they were symptom free.

Sorry to hear that Scott....was it before his time?

Those rotten chinks had it all figured out pretty good on how to destroy Trump, preserve their manufacturing base, and keep the socialists 100 year plan on a one world order on the move. Trump was a fly in the ointment...to them.....to me he was the best thing ever to come along.

Although I'm very healthy my wife is not and that has resulted in me putting less than 400 miles of the Jeep this year......we just stay home and fortunately there's plenty here to keep us sane. Besides, we prefer the company of animals to people anyway.---6

Sorry to hear of the loss if your friend. God Speed to him.

So sad. All this didn't need to be. Just for the sake of power for the few.

Sorry, My condolences. My best friend lost his last uncle on his dad's side to covid yesterday morning, my sister has a friend who is in the hospital right now with it. I have seen enough people around me as neighbors and friends with it to know covid is a real deal and not fake news. I still feel masks don't really hinder the spread but not happy with the idea of home quarantine. Hopefully they can pass the vaccine and try it out on the members of congress first. (palosi first!) We will get through this, just gotta find which door to open to find the solution.

Sorry to hear this Scott.

Brother of a good friend just lost the battle too, he was in a bad motorcycle accident, lost a leg, crush injuries and tested positive while in ICU.

Stay safe everyone!

Scott, I am not making light of his death, but what other ailments did he have besides the covid illness?
