Today we went to Wal-Mart and grandson Jerry bought a Henry .22 rifle. We set up a target in the bullet trap and he shot a few rounds to try it out. It has a very smooth action and the oil finished stock is a real beauty. He is well satisfied with it.
He has been looking at some here and likes Hagler's.

He is on the long side of nineteen now and has grown up shooting levers. Started him out on the old '92 32-20,then 94 30wcf.
This is actually his third lever, Winchester 94 30-30, Marlin 1894 .357, and now this little Henry.

wildmanh, grandson swears by the Marlin .357, He has been using it CAS shooting. A friend of mine bought it new in the early 1980's and never carried it. Jerry bought it a couple of years ago and he told him that it had probably a box through it,can't say that now.
