Our first grandson finally arrived. We are pretty tickled.
If you look really close, you can tell already that he is a Winchester man.
Now......I gotta look around and see if I can come up with something for a rifle for him...........

Congrats Jay. He looks more like an 1886 guy though...you can see it in the right eye, if you look closely.

Congrats, God Bless and well wishes for all!
Some day you may want to expand his horizons to include Marlins or Savage 99s though...

Hey! I hadn't thought of that, MH! Thank you for the great idea!
My wife sent our son a T-shirt that says "GUN" in big letters. It came with a matching onesie that says "SON OF A GUN" on it.
Gotta start early!

Congrats, Jay - You & yer wife are just gonna luv doting all over him !
When my 2 youngest Grandsons were born, I bought each of them a youth single shot rifle (a T/C HotShot & a Stevens 71 Favorite, both new commemoratives), and can only hope that I'll get to see them shoot the rifles (they're both under 6 years old).

Thank you, Pete!
I've got a minty 1915 Stevens Favorite .22. Another in .32rf, and a nice Tip Up pistol. Have a nice Winchester 67 "Boys Rifle" too.
Yeah, we are pretty excited. Only down side is our son and daughter in law are so far away. They are both USCG. They are down in Va., but only have a year left on this billet. Our son only has two billets left before retiring. Hope they are closer soon.
