It's been two years since my job was eliminated after 29 years and 7 months. I was bumming until I started looking for jobs. I added 15 K onto the wage I was making to give some negotiating room. My first interview, I was offered the job, but walked away ,because I wanted 4 weeks vacation. I asked for an official offer to be emailed to me. Well they added 2 k onto what I was asking and gave me 4 weeks vacation. Done deal and it's been a great change of pace.
You just have to sell yourself. So hang in there.
I going to throw a pray in , but you will be just fine.

Commercial roles in the chemical industry. Started off in Customer Service, then marketing, then sales, and my gig for the last 5 years has been in sales management. I'm not a technical guy though; just a dime a dozen sales/marketing guy.jeepnik wrote:Prayers up.
