Yes Ma'am,

We love range reports. With eight-by-ten colour glossy
pictures with the circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each
one explaining what each one was to be used as education for us.
Kind regards,
Tycer

Just a friendly warning, MissKitty. . .

. . . I think these guys want pictures of MissKitty, not just the guns. You gotta be careful around these types! I know their kind.

. . . er, 'cause I'm one of 'em, I guess.

Seriously, we all love getting other people, male or female, into our hobby. It's just that when we get together for a shoot and it's only guys, nobody smells good (that's why I always keep a blackpowder pistol handy for a nice cover scent), and nobody thinks to bring an apple pie.

Once you get into it, get your friends into it as well. My daughters have been better ambassadors for the sport than I have, and they're still just kids.

Why sure! I been through there many times. You ever heard of Caney head. That's where I grew up. If not, how bout Fred, about 15 mile north of Silsbee?

Been in Port Arthur now for about 10 years. I tell folks it's the Capitol of SW Louisiana. We have more cajuns here than Lake Charles.

That's a mid to late 80's factory engraved Rossi 92. Most folks mistake them for the late model brass frame Rossi's but it's not. That is a steel frame engraved then plated.

Nate's correct. A late '80s Rossi plated receiver '92 clone. The wife's has a "banner" on the right side in which she had her SASS alias engraved.

Image

The balance of the receiver is "stippled" with the "oak leaves" left smooth and their outlines engraved. The bottom of the receiver is engraved and stippled in the same pattern between the serial number and the lever.

Image

The lever, bolt, loading gate, barrel, mag tube, screws and saddle ring are all blued. Can't tell you the number of times someone has mistaken this sweet little carbine as mine!

I may just do that. I was up there a couple years back for the state shoot so I may just do it again. I'm trying to do more away shoots now but it's too late this year. The state shoot is this month.
