Places to shoot on east coast/ DC area?

Post by vancelw »

I'll be visiting a friend for a week at the end of July and beginning of August. I'm looking for a place to do some shooting while I'm there. Any suggestions on reputable ranges, either indoor or outdoor?
PM me if you don't want to share your favorite place in public..

DC area? You are kidding, right? I don't think they even allow "our kind" to visit there! Head about 400 mile NE and you can sit on my front porch and use my 100yd range.

I believe the NRA has an indoor range in Fairfax, VA.

Lots of shooting going on in the DC 'hood.

What's a few more bullets? I understand that Dealers & Pimps make great reactive targets....

Thanks. That will work. My friend wanted to go to the NRA museum while I was there anyway. My trip center will be in DC, but we will be making day trips and overnighters out of there, and Fairfax is on the list.

I greatly appreciate those of you who provided mature responses.
