He was promoted on March 1, 15 days before his 25th birthday. I wasn't sure what to think when he told me he wanted to join the Corps, but he's proved time after time that he knew what he was doing and had chosen his MOS carefully. Plus he's worked his tail off to get where he's at now. Dang! There goes another button! :D

I don't remember hearing the word "Love" during my time on MCRD San Diego
It might be worth making a special trip to deliver your message just so I could walk out when I got ready :D

Good for you and your son!

My wife will be there next month. She is a high school teacher and has been selected for an Educators Workshop. Gets to spend 5 rays at MCRD San Diego with the recruits. She is excited about it.

Been there twice for graduations.

Now if he were up the I-5 a few miles I'd stop and see him. Headed to Pendlton next week.

Paul, I believe I met your son when we got together in that coffee shop in Oceanside, CA years ago?

That is really cool! I am very glad for your family! I am grateful for what you do in your work, and what your son does too.

Thank you both.
