BTT, Sorry, Don't remember, but it was a reasonable wait about 8 years ago.

I'm on my 3rd headed to 4th renewal, and I don't remember that it ever took more than 5 or 6 weeks.

Maybe they've cut back on staff to improve service.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

The last time I renewed it was taking two to three months. I was told that they had cut way back on personal.

I am on my 4th renewal right now and during my class the instructor said figure 45 days for renewals and close to 90 for first timers.

They are absolutely swamped right now with new applications. Seems like lots of folks are getting licenses right now to compete with the recent uptick in crime.

Just did my 3rd renewal for Arizona.
Never saw anyone, did it all by mail.
Sweet, that is the way it should be!
