Greetings!
Greetings to everyone, I am on the Queen Charlotte Islands on the West coast of Canada, just below Alaska. I have a bunch of old Winchesters, Marlins, and a single Savage 1899. I have really enjoyed reading the posts on this forum, and finally decided to join. Love old Winchesters, and love to BS about them, LOL!

Re: Greetings!
Here is one of my favourites, 1892 in .32WCF, made in 1918. This old timer has killed a barrel full of raccoons, which are in plague proportions out here. Longest shot was just short of 200yds. The 115gr. bullets hit them hard!

My favourite .30WCF, a Model 94 from 1927, 26" round barrel and butt trap like on the 1873's. Posed with an old martin trap that I found in the woods. This rifle has been my companion on many adventures, and saved me from a giant spider on one occasion.

Welcome to a great place. fine looking rifles. My 92 32wcf rifle dates from 1917, I bought it from an uncle in 1953. It is still as accurate as when I got.

Re: Greetings!
My '92 really surprised me, it is one of those rifles that hits pretty much anything you pull the trigger on. The BP loads are neat, they make a nice "SNAP". I always seem to lose my ejected brass, though, the cases are so small they fall into cracks in the rocks, or moss swallows them up.JerryB wrote:Welcome to a great place. fine looking rifles. Welcome! Glad to see another Canadian on this board. I enjoyed those photos of your fine old Winchesters. Keep them coming! Even if they are the same guns in a different location, I think we all enjoy the photos.

Thanks for the video and we do like old Krags. I have a rifle with the full 30 inch barrel and all the wood except the long piece on the bottom and the one on top over the sight. I do like that 30-40 round.
