BTW, That particular issue of EE has TWO really great articles about Horses and Guns - the first is about one of our better Fishy Game Cops and the other is about hunting on horseback.

Not any more than you would shoot the horse for throwing a shoe.

Now, if it breaks an axle, well, are you going to drag it out?

I know a couple guys that have had flats and other breakdowns way in the heck up in the mountains. One rode out on the rim, ruining it, but came home. Another left the machine, walked several miles out to a road, got a ride home (about 60 road miles to get out and around to home) then got parts and went back in with another guy to fix it.

Power curve.

Most 4wheelers are willing to sacrifice Peace & Neighborliness for the fractional extra Power afforded by straight pipes.

Hey now old ironsights, it`s fine to make noise on a Harley, it`s all the rest that are unacceptable
I don`t have anything against four wheelers if they`er ridden where there supposed to be rode but they tear back and forth on the dirt road all day long by my place.
I`ve found the sound of most four wheelers annoying, kinda like a mosquito

Honestly? I prefer the soft pipes.....When I had the Hardly, I did a stage one, so I had to have pipes to do it. With this new Tenere, it makes 110hp very quietly, and on a 600lb scoot, it's plenty  Wooosh!
