Lever in Resident Evil

Post by cnjarvis »

I just saw a preview for Resident Evil - Extinction. Looks like Milla is using a lever but I couldn't tell which one. Guess that gives me an excuse to go see it... Comes out Friday.

Just saw that and rewound the PVR to look. It's a pretty short sequence but it appears to be a 94 of some type due to the length of the receiver. Ejects the shell casing from the top as far as I can tell. Appears to have scope blocks mounted on top of the receiver ... but no scope. Straight stock, full mag tube, barrel bands. Shell casing looks too big for 30-30 though. We're talking just a few frames of video ... hard to see.

It is a rifle as well. She also wields a pair of kukris. That just about does it for my interest in the movie...

Yes, a rifle, it looked a little long to be a carbine. Looks good on her though.

What? Not interested in the finely honed art of zombie plinking Hobie?

I love zombie movies!
I doubt I'd spend $20 to go see it, but I will rent it when it comes out.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error.
