Chris and Sabina Troskie could use our prayers ....

My good friends Chris and Sabina of CT-Safaris have had a fire at their home. Nobody was injured but they lost a lot of property and have extensive damage. The cost of repair is quite high but they are in good spirits and thankful for being unharmed and salvaging what they could. I offered them a temporary place to stay and Chris could even guide here in the winter, but we are an ocean apart and they need to be near their home to facilitate repairs.

First - in order to help them out I am auctioning off a hunt. This is a fully guided two day feral hog hunt with night-time varmint shooting too for an unlimited # of hogs with luxurious lodging and food and license all covered. I can accomodate two people like a husband/wife, father/son, etc. The reason I state this is that you will share a bedroom with one king sized bed. If you don't mind your buddies snoring and blanket stealing I don't care if two men or two women come on the hunt. Airport round trip included if you need it. Ideally this will take place in the Spring or Summer and I will honor it for up to 2 years at your convenience. This would normally cost around $1250 per person. I will take offers privately at my PM or at jriekers@suddenlink.net. Anything will help the Troskies and every penny will go to them for whatever needs they have. No offer is too low. I will update incremental offers but keep the names anonymous.

Second - if you want to help out in any way just let me know. One way is to book a safari with me for our Levergunners Hunt around the first week of June 2013. I will discount your price in appreciate for your business that means more than ever this year. If you have excess airline miles that you cannot use for whatever reason, I'd like to add them to mine so Chris can travel to various trade shows and drum up more business this year. Any kind of care package that you think is appropriate will be sent from me on my dime.

Chris has supported Leverguns.com and the Leverguns Community for over 10 years with special hunt packages, reduced rates and special accomodations. While his family has a lot of pride and are not soliciting assistance I would like to help just a little, if for no other reason than to let them know they are appreciated and we do care.
