Just joined... love the site... thanks to all for what you put into it...
Holler if you're in the Piedmont and want to meet up at the Greensboro show to ogle some leverguns in late August...
I've only got one lever right now, a '79 Winchester 94 XTR in .30-30, but I dig it and will be on the lookout for a pre-64 in the same caliber to go with it, a pre-safety Marlin 1894C to go with my 4" S&W 586 (no dash, unmodified) or a Belgian BLR in .308 to share ammo with my precision bolt rifle... prolly a few others that'd fire me up as well, come to think of it!

Best,

Well a BIG Hardy Welcome to Ya . Pull up a stump and sit a spell. There is lots to learn here and hopefully U can give some input.
About Your 79 Win 94, We'll take Ur word for it but We really really like pictures, in fact they are mandatory. But far be it from Me to give U flak, it will come.

Just added a couple of pics to the original post (94 & 586)... I'm no wizard with a camera, and I was using my smart-phone, so sorry about the quality... I'll see if I can't borrow my wife's camera next time.
JReed - You ever hunt Uwharrie or the WNC mountains, or do you stay in the Coastal region by and large?
Glad to have you here, I spend a lot of time in the Blowing Rock area and once graced the halls of Guilford College (for a short stint). The dog and I welcome you.

I'm right down the road in Lexington. I'll be at the Greensboro Show early Saturday. If you aren't a member on Carolina Shooters Club, I'd recommend that you sign up. There have been a few 357 Marlins sold there in the last year or so - I bought one of them. If you are, we've probably done a gun trade at sometime in the past.

Heya, Edward! You are right down the road, aren't you? I am a member on Carolina Shooters Club, though I haven't yet bought anything through the site. I do have a bunch of collectible knives posted there for sale right now... if I don't get rid of them through the site I'll bring them to the show in a few weeks. I'll be there Saturday as well... PM me or something and we'll meet up.

I know Guilford well... my younger daughter goes to school at New Garden Friends and family and I are out that way pretty regularly... nice area.
