Jarhead's Model 71**Update**

Post by Sixgun »

Dudes & fellow shootists,
An additional pic of Jarhead during his days in 'Nam. I'm sure his M-60 and a 1911 is in there somewhere :D
This pics are posted for Jarhead. He sent me these pics of a Model 71 that has a very unusual and neat serial number, not to mention its high condition and the original Lyman 56 mounted on its side. Jarhead, Thanks for your duty to this great nation and may many more Model 71's come your way.------------Sixgun

Today I saw a pair of same serial Browning 71s, rifle and carbine, NIB and they didn't hold a candle to that one for appearance. Thanks for sharing guys!
Sincerely,

Hobie

Now there is a gun that is begging to be picked up and taken out for action!!! What a beautiful Winchester, and that is saying something since I'm a Marlin man.

Back in high school my best friends dad hunted deer with a Winchester M71. We all thought he was crazy. Turns out like usual, the old boys with EXPERIENCE know a thing or two.

What an INCREDIBLE serial number. If that lever gun was mine you could NEVER pry it out of my hands!!! THAT IS A KEEPER FOR SURE!!!!

Sixgun,

Thanks for posting.... and glad you fellas like her....The original owner related that less than 2 boxes of shells have been shot through her. Hard to say if that's true, but she is in nice shape for 57 years old.
