Police Humor!
NEW JERSEY STATE POLICE DISPLAY SENSITIVITY
I get irritated when people come down on our police officers, saying
That they don't care about or respect others. Well, here is a story that
Clearly shows not all cops are in that category.
This story involves the State Police in the town of Bordentown, N.J. who
Reported finding a man's body last Saturday in the early evening in the
Delaware River near the state highway-206 bridge. The dead man's name
Would not be released until his family had been notified.
The victim apparently drowned due to excessive beer consumption while
Visiting "someone" in the Bordentown area . He was wearing black
fishnet Stockings, 4 inch spiked heels, a red garter belt, a pink
G-string, purple Lipstick, dazzle dust on his eyelids, 1/2 inch false
eyelashes and an Obama T-shirt.
The Troopers removed the Obama T-shirt to spare his family any
unnecessary embarrassment.
See there, New Jersey State Police do care.

Re: Police Humor!
A state trooper pulled a woman over for speeding. The woman, waited till the trooper arrived at the window and before he could speak said "WHy did you pull me over? Are you selling tickets to the annual Policeman's Ball?"
The trooper sneered and said "No ma'am, State Troopers don't have any balls."
There was a moment of awkward silence. Then the trooper tipped his hat, returned to his car and drove off.

OP is sooooooo old and ought to have been posted in a political forum.
I found it lacking in humor even the first 20-30 times I heard it.
I don't come to Leverguns.com to be informed about political preferences.

To be allowed to poke fun at political leaders means you are living in a decent country and not a Dictatorship...long live humor...
I like the one about the State Trooper too!

I got more warnings than I can count about political posts on a different site. This is why I love this site! (I also like my lever guns)
Despite that being a old joke, I like it! Political correctness has been the downfall of this country.

OP is not offering humor, rather , he is attempting to persuade us of the righteouness of his political viepoint. Hence, his subsequent remark about "Idiot in Chief"
Nothing here has indicated anyone has lost a sense of humor.

Ok, I'm not sure I get it.
The guy dressed like Obama and didn't have any balls...
What's the punch line?

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.
History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Re: Police Humor!
I tend to make fun of most of the "idiots-in-chief" we've had over the past 40 or 50 years. They each have provided some humorous aspect that is readily and shamelessly exploited by many political pundits. Frankly, you could remove our current idiot-in-chief's name and substitute any of his precedessors, and the punch line works as well... for humor.2571 wrote:OP is not offering humor, rather , he is attempting to persuade us of the righteouness of his political viepoint. I have to say, that I am convinced of the non-political nature of this joke. Nowhere in there was there a comment about his policies or the agenda he has sought to foist off on the American public.

Where in my remarks is there an expression of my political sentiments? I dislike having political viewpoints forced upon me.
You make assumptions about my political viewpoints. I have not expressed any.
Please read the orange bar at the beginining of the posts -- "We discuss anything but politics here"

So 2571....you didn't find a joke funny. I think I'll get started upon YOU.....
From the tone of you response it appears that you are a progressive (fascist) liberal who can't stomach the idea of anyone who opposes "The Big Zero". Is that right Shmedrick? No-one turned this to the political...you did schmuck.
What was an attempt to extract joy & laughter for all, in you, produced a visceral political response that was VERY revealing as to your partcular mindset. Did you have some glee in smothering the fun of a wolfpack of patriots? Is that right? An innocent attempt by a Pard Levergunner to make a joke to ellcit laughter in all on this board & it made you angry, because Your Boy in the White House was made fun of? An illegal alien...foreign agent provokoteur?
I find it hilarious that your city, which has been managed by liberal, socialist, progressive fascists for the last 80 ef....ng yrs. is now bulldozing the north end of the city to return it to farm land. Is that right? Just like Gary, Indiana? Which used to be a steel making powerhouse and now just a burned out shell of a city....all due to progressive (liberal) politics? What is pathetic is that the people themselves (probably like you), voted for their own destruction. Did you...Schmuck?
I find you boring...and I'm calling you out.

Re: Police Humor!
Yeah. Not in the spirit of this forum. C'mon, lever bob, I am an oxymoronic liberal gun owner myself, and even I wish 2571 had tried to respond with humor instead of vitriole. But you post is a tad personal and over the line. This is supposed to be a flame free, troll free place. It's inevitable that conservative gunners are going to gripe about a Democratic president, and liberal gunners will shake their heads.
But the truth is, if you take politics out of it, we can all talk for hours without getting angry.
That's why there is a separate politics forum.
Let's all just let it go, okay?

I consider myself a liberal conservative... or is that a conservative liberal? I'm so confused! Every test I've seen that measures that kind of thing lists me amoungst the "Centralists". As I suspect a great many of us really are. The Political Compass

Griff,
Do not trust those tests!
They are made to make you less conservative by pretending that lefties are middle of the road and, Oh what the heck, I know you personally and am not worried about you turning commie.

I like a joke just like everybody else; I favor humor directed at politicians. But I don't favor making fun of people because they bear some immutable, harmless trait. 50 years ago, my mom taught me not make fun of the paraplegic. As an adult, I find no humor in jokes about the blind, the deformed, Catholics, Blacks, Jews and the folk we used to call, 'the retarded'.
As an adult, I find the op joke unmanly, devoid of humorous content and assume its furtherance & long life has been the product of a flawed upbringings.
