Reloading fer a modern 32-20 rifle which bullet jacketed or cast is the better choice fer hunting ? I won't be casting lead but could buy bullets already produced.

(semi)jacketed is better for muzzle velocities pushing 1400 fps just to keep the leading down in the barrel.

Midway has the Meister 115 grain Hardcast that is a real fine bullet.I also load the XTP HP in 85 and 100 grain. They are all .312 bullets. the 115 gr. would be fine for close range deer.
