You know, maybe it's just me, but the Hunter models just look "wrong". Can't place my finger on it, but something just doesn't sit well with me. Of course it's got the accursed laminated grips. Why oh why did some idiot start putting plywood on guns?

IMHO I'm glad to see a .41 Mag -- my best friend got into the .41 Mag back in the early 80's and hasn't looked back (3 S&W's an 1 Marlin levergun)--I always kick myself for not following him--oh well... :)
Good morning
Yep I would have to do all sorts of modifications to make it presentable.. I will stick with the BH models. MIke in Peru

I still love the .41 mag but let all mine go a few years back. Had a 58, 57, BH and Marlin all in .41 but decided to buy the Grandsons each a BLR so traded them all away. At one time I carried the 58 on duty and felt very confident in it's ability.

It may not look right to some, but the proof of a hunting gun is in the shooting, IMO. I love my short-barreled Blackhawks, but
I bet this one holds point better.
