Latest Ebay Score…

Post by cshold »

Needed a new light weight Dove hunting vest for the upcoming season.
Found this vintage 100% cotton canvas “Red Head” brand from the 70’s, took a
chance and made the purchase. It is like new, perfect condition. It had to have been
used at least once, there was about a dozen small Grouse feathers in the bottom of
the game bag.

i have one of those that belonged to my Grandfather.
Hasn't fit me since I was 13. He was tough little guy!
But I'm very proud that I own it along with his Model 12 Winchester 20 gage. It never misses!

Vintage to me is anything pre hunter orange and pre all this high tech
computer generated camouflage patterns that make a hunter
invisible to man and beast.

Looks like a good one. Stuff we used to take for granted is getting hard to find. Last time I needed a vest it seemed like they all had orange on them. I finally found a good one made by Ideal. They have a lot of good stuff. The #2068 vest is a Cadillac.

Very true,
I'm not the biggest fan of eBay & PayPal but it sure is
an awesome tool for finding the good products made
back in the day in the USA.
