Levers at the Trafalgar

Post by perry owens »

On the weekend of October 23/24 I shall be officiating at the Trafalgar Meeting at the historic Bisley Ranges. Organised by the UK NRA, this is one of the premier European events for vintage, veteran and classic firearms. This year there are ten competitions specifically for lever actions, plus many others for which they are eligible. Also at Bisley that weekend is the antique arms fair. Normally many old Winchesters and Marlins are for sale there but mostly at prices that would make your eyes pop out in disbelief.
If any UK levergunners are able to get along to the Trafalgar come and find me in Melville Range and I will buy you a beer.

How is "Bisley" pronounced? My first guess is Biss-lee. I can also see Bizz-lee, or Bigh-slay, or ...

Thanks.

Bizz-lee, with the emphasis on Bizz.
