Post by dgr416 »

They had the pistol a 4" sp101 327 Federal but no ammo. Its kinda funny but no brass or ammo is to be found.Thats the first 327 Federal I have seen in the flesh.I hope a lever gun comes out in it.

That would be a dandy round for a 1894 Marlin.

327 federal

Post by dgr416 »

I was suprised the 327 federal sp101 Ruger was $439 .It was $10 cheaper than the same gun in a sp 101 in 32 H&R mag. They were both side by side and looked them same. You can shoot 32 H&R mag in the 327 federal.I think it would be awesome in a Winchester model 92 or a Marlin 1894.I think someone made a lever gun in it and I think its a Marlin. We will see iof it comes out.I hope it does.

Are you certain of that barrel length?

I got one a bit after Xmas , but still have no 327 Federal ammo !

I already have a couple 32 MAGs so I will wait until the 327 ammo is available !

Did the 32 mag cases come out good.Yep might be a little while on ammo and its like $23 for 20.Might wanta reload.Starline has no plans to make brass.I called and they said unless it really got popular it would not be in the line up.

+1 on hoping for someone to build a lever for this round.. It would be a perfect "matched set" (revolver & lever) for the little lady. :D
