Born in late '68, but I do remember some of those, and am familiar with most of them.
I really like the Statler Bros, but too many of their songs make my vision blurry.
"...In this present crisis, government isn't the solution to the problem; government is the problem." Ronald Reagan
"...all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed." Declaration of Independence
Thank you very much. Now I feel really, really old. I'll try to return the favor sometime.

Thanks for posting. I was born in 73, but my dad loved old country so I've heard that song a million times growing up. However I never knew what some of the stuff was..
I know what Lucky Strikes are but what did the Green have to do with it..?
"If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men
shall possess the highest seats in Government,
our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots
to prevent its ruin." Samuel Adams
I'm only 36 but my parents told me about the old Burma-Shave multi sign adds. And low and behold a local retirement community has a Fund raising Fish Fry in the Summer, and it was obvious that to keep the old men active the painted up about four or five versions, using about seven signs. I wish I could remember all the saying but it brought a smile to my face for sure.

Lucky Strike packs signature color was a dark green until WWII. It was changed to white at that time. Now I'm reaching, but I think it had something to do with the green "dye" being needed for military items.

I'm getting old. In my old age I find I long for the guns of my youth.
Revolvers and 1911's were the handguns of my youth.
I know them and I trust them.
How about "Lucky Strike, don't strike back". Anyone else ever play that game.
