Miss November

Post by El Chivo »

well, I went for it, and ordered Miss November:

The picture doesn't do her justice - she LIVES. It's a little creepy having her in the room with me, I keep doing a double-take, thinking it's a real animal. Anyway, this is not junk.

Whether it will work or not I can't say. There's no rut during our season. I plan to take her up the creekbed and let her give others the impression that the coast is clear. Hunters don't generally go up that way. She'll probably get shot if I take her to any of the regular areas.

If I get really ambitious I might take her up to A-zone, where there may be a rut in progress.

I also bought a fawn decoy, which also looks pretty realistic. That's for coyote time. Now I have to work an a fawn bleat.

Have you decided how pee'd off you're gonna get when somebody shoots her?

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

I have one and have been recommending her. She is just awesome. Good looking, willing, easy to take with you, easy to get along with, quiet, and makes the bucks jealous! She'll be my partner on every deer hunt this year. Good Luck!

we mostly have mulies around here, and there's some white there if not the tail itself.

One thing I have noticed when running across deer around here is they are curious. They stop and stare at me just as I stare at them. Once I climbed to a very high ridge top and was walking along the spine, and two does were scrambling up the side in front of me. They got scared momentarily, and when they got to the top they hid. But then they circled back, and stopped and looked at me from a knob like they couldn't believe what they were seeing.

"Sylvia, what is it?"..."I don't know, but he looks rough".
