Post by BigSky56 »

Have been up the last few nights watching over cows wolves have been harassing them anyway finished reading by headlamp "Three Against the Wilderness" by Eric Collier about the author his chilcotin indian wife and son living in the Chilcotin basin BC from the late 20 thru 1960 trapping and restoring the beavers to the basin dealing with wolves, moose and nature. Building 2 log homes and gardening his rifle was a ross 303 for hunting and a stevens 22 single shot for trapping. Good read you wont be disappointed. danny

I read that book years ago and I agree with you , it is an excellent read. Need to get my copy off the shelf and give it another read. If you enjoyed that one you might like "The Silence Of The North" by Olive A. Fredrickson another very good real life book set in Canada

Finally got a copy!
My daughter in law found the book and gave it to my son, he knew I'd love it too, so passed it onto me.

A very inspirational book... :D
