Range time

Post by Rusty »

No levers today but I did take my 10/22 project rifle I've been working on. The rifle is a Ruger 10/22 with a Green Mountain barrel, a Houge overmoulded stock and a BSA scope. everything in the trigger group is stock. My friend is the range officer there at the range and he is over seeing some matches there as well. The matches are shot on a USBR target with a total of 25 rounds per match. My first match for record today I shot a 217-4X out of a possible 250.
I was pretty pleased considering the excuses I had. Untried Remington Elly Ammo, lack of sand bags, and wind. I think I'll have to go back next week and try again. Each shooter is allowed up to four targets a month and the best of the four is turned in for score.
Any Florida shooters who are close to the Tenoroc range in Lakeland might want to stop by and give it a try.

Sorry Jeremy, I'm digitally challenged. I'll try to get some next week.

Sounds like a ton of fun, and I'm looking forward to the pictures too. At what distance do you shoot? Is the competition limited to 10/22's?
